A practical little helper

Enough treats.
A little less guesswork.

Estimate the candy you need for your doorstep or event. Start with last year’s visitors if you have a count, then decide how generous each handout should be.

Your estimated shopping quantity

230

pieces of candy

200 pieces for visitors + 30 extra pieces.

Turn the estimate into a shopping list

With 100 visitors, two pieces each, and a 15% buffer, the estimate is 230 pieces. If the pack you choose contains 150 pieces, two packs provide 300 pieces, leaving 70 above that estimate.

A “piece” means whatever you intend to hand out as one unit: one mini bar, one small bag of gummies, or one full-size bar. Use the same unit in the calculator and the pack count. For candy sold only by weight, check whether the seller provides an actual count before using the optional pack field.

This is a planning estimate. Weather, nearby events, and your neighborhood’s participation can all change turnout. Add party guests separately if they will also share the same supply.

Compare candy variety packs or plan a separate bowl of non-candy choices.
